Isle of Man: Regs look to overhaul entire competition policy

The Office of Fair Trading announced the beginning of a major consultation of the Isle of Man’s competition policy as part of its plan to overhaul the existing framework. Reports say OFT Chairman David Quirk made the announcement and explained that the OFT’s current competition legislation “is out of date,” leading the OFT to prioritize its modernization. The consultation, scheduled to conclude on September 30 of this year, is currently seeking viewpoints from both consumers and businesses.
