US: Online food ordering companies Seamless and GrubHub to become one

Two of the largest online food ordering websites, Seamless and GrubHub, have confirmed Monday that the two companies will merge into one. Further, the businesses announced GrubHub co-founder and CEO Matt Maloney will become the head of the new company, whose name has yet to be revealed. According to reports, the two companies generated a combined $100 million in revenue last year and will likely strengthen the new conglomerate’s presence within the US and the UK. The deal remains subject to approval by antitrust regulators; financial information on the deal was not disclosed.
