Spain: CNC extends proceedings in cotton gin case

The National Competition Commission has announced through a press release that the authority is extending its review of the cotton gin sector and extending proceedings to include another company, Agricola Conagralsa, as well as its parent company. According to the CNC, the investigation was first initiated to look into allegations of price fixing by various companies in regards to amounts paid to cotton producers. The probe was first launched in February 2012.
