According to reports, buyout firm Bridgepoint is nearing a takeover of Oasis Healthcare for more than $313 million. Oasis, which is Britain’s second-largest private dentistry provider, apparently entered into exclusive talks with Bridgepoint and, while the transaction is not yet completely, insider sources say Bridgepoint is gaining the lead ahead of competing bidders Capvest, LCD and Omers Private Equity. Oasis has not had a change in ownership in more than five years.
