Austria: Authorities probe retail services HQ in document raid

Austria’s Federal Competition Authority continues its prove of Spar Group as it raids its headquarters in Salzburg-Taham, according to reports, and will continue the investigation until Wednesday. The Authority is eyeing the retail services company for alleged price-fixing and is accused of making vertical agreements between distributors and wholesalers; a spokesperson for the Authority also noted that it is possible Spar Group may have made horizontal agreements. Documents and data from the company’s headquarters are being secured by a tem of the Federal Competition Authority, which will evaluate the findings in the next few months.
