Singapore’s competition authority has officially dropped its investigation into Coca-Cola’s Singapore business after the company apparently agreed to concessions concerning its supply deals. The Competition Commission of Singapore released a statement saying that Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages had agreed to modify part of its supply agreements to adhere to the authority’s standards of maintaining competition; among those modifications includes Coca-Cola’s decision to not require on-premise retailers to first notify and negotiate with the beverage giant before the retailer wants to sell other brands.
