U.K.: Anglo American gives up two plants to gain Tarmac plc

Anglo American has agreed to cooperate with the Office of Fair Trading’s request that the company divest certain assets to remedy concerns over its desired acquisition of Tarmac plc. Anglo American has agreed to divest assets of its aggregate, asphalt and readymix concrete, including two asphalt plants.
