U.K.: OFT, CAA publish guide for following consumer protection law during holiday travel
In the wake of recent fines for exclusive dealing in the travel sector, the OFT and the Civil Aviation Authority have jointly published guidance for consumers who will be booking trips for the holidays. The OFT and the CAA says that travelers deserve “fair, clear and transparent information” when planning trips. The draft guidance outlines the implications of consumer protection law for the travel sector, and will act as a guide to companies for compliance with the law.
