Russia: FAS extends review of MegaFon merger

It may take two more months until a proposed MegaFon/Euroset merger has been completely reviewed, says the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service. Under terms of the deal, mobile operator MegaFon would acquire half of Euroset for up to $1.33 billion. FAS’s delay is not likely to obstruct MegaFon’s planned stock market listing.
