BAA forced to sell London Stansted

A British Court of Appeal rejected British airport operator BAA’s request to set aside a Competition Commission order to sell the London Stansted airport, Britain’s fourth busiest hub. The BAA currently owns Europe’s busiest airport, London’s Heathrow, as well as Southhampton and Stansted in England and Scotland’s Glasgow and Aberdeen airports. BAA reportedly intends to appeal to Britain’s Supreme Court.
