Competition Commission requests Supreme Court appeal of DuPont’s bid for Pannar Seed
The South African Competition Commission has filed a new application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal to block DuPont’s proposed acquisition of Pannar Seed. DuPont Co. Although the merger puts DuPont in a better position to compete with Monsanto, it may lead to Syngenta’s exit from the seed market.
