Bucharest Court of Appeals rejects MOL Romania’s appeal to overturn cartel fine

The Bucharest Court of Appeals has rejected MOL Romania’s appeal to overturn the competition authority’s fine for cartel activity. The authority had fined MOL Romania 80.3 Romanian lei (approximately 18.5 million euros) in January, for withdrawing Eco Premium fuel from the market in 2008. MOL Romania will appeal the Court of Appeals’ decision.
