Michigan class action claims movie theater snack premium amounts to price gouging

Joshua Thompson, a moviegoer in Michigan, has filed a class-action lawsuit to put an end to the high prices of snacks at theaters. Thompson cites the Michigan Consumer Protection Act as legal basis for his suit, as he claims that the premium on popcorn and candy constitutes price gouging.
