ACCC institutes proceedings against Eternal Beauty for resale price maintenance
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has instituted legal proceedings against Eternal Beauty Products, alleging resale price maintenance in violation of Section 48 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. According to the ACCC, Eternal Beauty induced or attempted to induce two retailers not to sell its products online at prices less than those specified by Eternal Beauty. Eternal Beauty’s director Penny Rider is charged with direct or indirect knowing involvement.
