BCLP Expands Global Antitrust Team with New Partners in London and Washington

International law firm BCLP has announced the addition of two partners to its Antitrust, Competition and Trade practice group, strengthening its international presence and regulatory expertise. According to a statement, Christine Graham has joined the team as a partner in London, while Alexis Early has come aboard as a partner in Washington, D.C.

    Graham brings experience advising on global mergers and foreign direct investment (FDI) reviews. Per a statement, she has represented clients before antitrust and foreign investment screening authorities and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA Antitrust Foreign Investment and National Security Committee. She is also a co-founder of the European Foreign Direct Investment Association. Her work spans both advisory and contentious matters, with particular focus on the technology and life sciences sectors. Prior to joining BCLP, Graham was Special Counsel at Cooley and previously practiced at another global law firm. She also has UK government experience, having advised on the implementation of EU law into domestic legislation ahead of Brexit.

    In the United States, Early strengthens BCLP’s Washington, D.C. practice by advising clients on international trade, including economic sanctions, export controls, and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). According to a statement, her practice centers on helping businesses address complex issues involving the cross-border flow of goods, technology, capital, and services.

    The firm emphasized that these appointments reflect its commitment to expanding global capabilities in antitrust and trade law. Per a statement, BCLP is responding to growing client demand and seeking to support companies navigating increasingly complex regulatory challenges.

    Commenting on her move, Graham said she was “thrilled to be joining BCLP,” highlighting the firm’s international reach and collaborative culture. Senior leadership at BCLP echoed this enthusiasm, underscoring her expertise in FDI and transactional work as a key asset for clients. The firm also noted that Graham’s insights in technology and innovation antitrust will bolster the practice at a time when regulatory scrutiny in these areas is intensifying.
