Australia: ACCC lines up 2013 targets

A report released by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has detailed what the authority is to focus on in the coming months. According to its Compliance and Enforcement Policy, the agency will eye food label claims, fake online retailer testimonials, telecommunications contracts, airlines, and other industries. Chairman Rod Sims also noted that the ACCC plans to increase its presence within competition matters, including online competition.
