The Competition Authority has released information on its future goals for Botswana in an attempt to clarify its purpose among consumers. In an educational piece on the purpose of an antitrust regulator, Botswana officials look towards New Zealand as an example in competition law and explain how cartels and bid-rigging hamper competition among businesses and hurt the consumer.
