CCI continues crackdown on cement cartels

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) slapped Schree Cement with a $72 million fine for its involvement in a cement cartel under fire since June. Schree included, CCI has now connected 12 cement makers to cartel-related activities and has issued combined fines of nearly $1.2 billion.
