CNC opens proceedings against Florencio for obstructing investigation

The Comisión Nacional de la Competencia has opened infringement proceedings against Florencio Barrera e Hijos for obstructing an on-site inspection. On January 11, 2012, the CNC had visited Florencio’s headquarters in Fuengirola. At the office, however, the CNC was met with “several incidents [. . .] which made it difficult for the CNC’s officials to obtain access to certain documentation.” No details were provided as to the events encountered.
