CRTC seeks comment on whether the wireless market should be regulated

On April 4, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) announced that it is seeking public comment on the need for a national code for the wireless market. Although it had decided in 1994 not to regulate the wireless sector, the CRTC says that it has now recently received several applications requesting regulation for the industry.
