Joaquin Almunia, Vice President of the European Commission responsible for competition policy, is presenting a competition-policy work program of the commission for 2013 and 2014. The program aims to focus on recommendations and considerations on some of the mandates of the EC. The largest mandate is reviewing the Communication on State aid modernization, adopted on May 8th, 2012. Mr. Almunia also provides a quick overview of the recent and current actions of the EC with respect to the various antitrust and competition violations across sectors. Read the release here
