Germany: Volkswagen document submissions include Bosch

 |  July 30, 2017

According to German magazine Der Spiegel, antitrust authorities in Germany have received the seventh submission of documents from Volkswagen revealing information regarding the meetings and discussions among German car makers related to suppliers, prices and standards.

The latest batch of documents are said to show examples of collusion between the automakers and supplier company Bosch.

Bosch is said to have helped car makers with the manipulation of the Ad Blue diesel emissions filtering fluid.

Bosch responded to the magazine publication by stating, “All we know about this matter so far is what we have read or heard in the media. We have had no inquiries relating to it whatsoever from German or European antitrust authorities. As we have no details about the matters under investigation, we cannot comment on them.”
