Following the announcement that wireless operators Partner Communications and HOT Mobile plan to launch a joint venture to develop a single radio access network, reports say rival Golan Telecom may also be looking to join the deal.
HOT Mobile and Partner Communications announced earlier plans to pool their spectrum sources and share infrastructure for the shared network. Some reports now say anonymous sources suggest Golan is looking to join the partnership.
The sources said, however, that there is much uncertainty surrounding the joint venture until the Ministry of Communications and the Antitrust Authority rule on the deal.
Earlier this month, additional competitors Pelephone and Cellcom announced their own partnership plans.
