
Kevin Hart has joined Jones Day as a partner in the antitrust and competition law practice in Washington, the firm said Monday.
Hart served as the former acting co-director of litigation for the antitrust division at the Justice Department, according to Jones Day.
He also served as special assistant to the directors of enforcement and assistant chief in the antitrust division as well as senior counsel in the division of enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission, Jones Day said.

“Kevin has an exceptional understanding of how federal antitrust regulators approach enforcement actions and a wealth of litigation experience under both Republican and Democratic presidential administrations,” said Craig Waldman, Co-Leader of the Antitrust & Competition Law Practice. “This perspective will enable him to provide our clients with important legal insights that shape their antitrust compliance and litigation strategies.
