Moscow: Thirteen shipping cos to be investigated in month-long probe

Moscow’s Federal Anti-Monopoly Service is reportedly conducting a widespread prove into the nation’s container shipping companies for suspected cartel behavior, though the authority did not specifically mention which laws it believes the group is violating. A source within the authority, however, says that there is alleged price-fixing and sharing of sensitive market information. Thirteen companies will be under the review, which began February 11th and will last until mid-March. Among those companies includes the subsidiaries of global shipping giants, including Maersk.
