On April 10, the Investigations Division of the National Competition Commission (CNC) decided to open formal proceedings and expand its probe of AENA to include other companies. The CNC is investigating the exchange of sensitive commercial information of car rental companies that rented commercial premises from AENA. The companies that have come under the CNC’s broadened probe are Autotransporte Turistico Español, Aurigacrown Car Hire, Avis Alquile Un Coche, Autos Cabrera Medina, Canary Islands Car, Centauro Rent A Car, Coral Car Rental, Europcar, Goldcar Spain, Hertz de España, Owners Cars, Paylesscar, Record-Go Alquiler Vacacional, Rent A Car Piñero, Top Car Auto Reisen, Sixt Rent A Car, Solmar Alquiler de Vehículos, and Special Prices Auto Reisen.
