The Vice President and Board Member for the Romanian Competition Council Valentin Mircea has revealed to CPI in an emailed statement that he has stepped down from the position.

Mircea served as VP for four-and-a-half years and said he left his post October 8 of this year.

Beginning in January 2014, however, he will join a private practice in Bucharest, though did not say which firm he will join.
