Spain: A&O opens new doors

Allen & Overy has opened its second office in Spain, reports say, while simultaneously hiring mergers and acquisitions lawyer Antoni Valverde.

Reports say the law firm opened the new office in Barcelona as the firm continues strengthening its presence in the European nation.

The firm aided its expansion in Spain with Valverde, who comes to practice from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Among his most high-profile cases includes the OHL Brazil acquisition.
