Telecom company Síminn fined more than $3.2 million for abuse of dominance

The Icelandic Competition Authority fined Síminn more than ISK 400 million (approximately $3.2 million / €2.4 million). The Icelandic telecommunications company was fined for abuse of its dominant position. Síminn had engaged in predatory pricing and violated competition laws in the EEA agreement. It will appeal the regulator’s decision.
