Turkey’s antitrust regulators announce August 1 the clearance of Ströer Media’s acquisition of Ballroom Group, two advertising conglomerates. Reports say Ströer, which focuses on out-of-home advertising in the Central Eastern European region, will holds a 53.4 percent stake in Ballroom Group, which runs as an international online advertising network. Specifically, reports say the deal will allow Ströer to strengthen its position in the programmic buying market, which allows companies to purchase advertising in a space specific to a certain demographic. Ballroom specializes in display and video advertising.
