Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has promoted antitrust litigator Deba Das to partner, as the firm looks to beef up its London team ahead of the departure of Jon Lawrence at the end of April.
Commenting on the promotions, Freshfields’ Senior Partner, Edward Braham, said, “We are very pleased to announce the promotion of some of our most capable and committed lawyers to partner. They are all outstanding practitioners, and we have every confidence their qualities will help us to strengthen our international and market-leading offering.”
Deba has represented clients across various sectors in contentious competition matters before UK courts and tribunals. This includes follow-on damages litigation in the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as contentious regulatory matters and litigation concerning the telecoms and pay TV sectors.
