US: Antitrust litigator joins DLA Piper as partner

Law firm DLA Piper announced Wednesday that it has added a new partner to its roster, and one with significant antitrust background.

    The firm is welcoming Mark Riera at its Los Angeles office. Riera has extensive background in price-fixing and antitrust matters within the pharmaceutical and banking industries, along with a slew of other legal focuses including securities fraud and wage and hour violations, say reports.

    Riera joins DLA Piper from Dentons. He has argued cases before 23 state courts, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, and the US Supreme Court, say reports.
