US: Antitrust litigator joins Sidley Austin’s global litigation practice

Sidley Austin announced Wednesday that it has hired Bruce R. Braun as a partner at two of its practices in Chicago.

    According to reports, Braun will join the firm’s Accountants/Professional Services Liability practice, as well as its global Litigation practice. The lawyer brings with him its expertise in antitrust and intellectual property cases.

    According to Sidley Austin, Braun served as a lead lawyer in a high-profile, landmark antitrust case defending a software company against government action.

    Braun joins Sidley Austin from Winston & Strawn where he was chair of its complex commercial litigation practice.
