US: Business advisory firm subsidiary buys Princeton Economics Group

FTI Consulting has announced that its subsidiary, Compass Lexecon LLC, has moved to acquire Princeton Economics Group, allowing the subsidiary to join with such economists as John Bigelow, Kenneth Elzinga and Peter Borensteen. According to the reports, the merger does not surprise many, as the two parties had worked together on various antitrust matters in the past. FTI employees nearly 4,000 in 24 nations; the business advisory firm is based in Florida.
