DiNovo Price Ellwanger & Hardy LLP announced Thursday that the firm is launching a new antitrust practice to be lead by partner Christopher Goodpastor.
According to reports, DiNovo Price’s new boutique is in response to growing demand for client protection from anticompetitive conduct; the firm notes that antitrust lawsuits filed in Texas alone “surged” last year, and said it predicts those numbers to rise.
DiNovo Price says the new practice will specialize in cases of bid-rigging, price-fixing, monopolistic behavior and other antitrust matters.
Goodpastor, the firm added, was chosen to lead the new practice thanks to his immense background in intellectual property-related matters, experience the firm hopes to seamlessly transition and combine with antitrust cases.
