The former Chief of the New York Field Office of the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division has been hired by Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, according to a press release.
Deirdre A. McEvoy joined the firm as Counsel, effective Tuesday.
During her time at the DOJ, McEvoy managed the regulator’s 100 percent conviction rate for the first time in nearly a decade, with a focus on cartel prosecution.
Patterson Belknap is based in New York City and said it is “pleased” to have McEvoy join the firm.
