Perkins Coie announced Monday that it has hired antitrust lawyer Ryan J. Preston to expand the firm’s office in Dallas.
According to reports, Preston will join the firm’s Technology Transactions & Privacy practice as partner. He comes to Perkins Coie from K&L Gates, also in Dallas.
In a statement, the practice’s co-chair, James Lisbakken, celebrated the addition of Preston at the firm, noting that “his broad experience with complex transactions and mergers and acquisitions involving technology companies is especially relevant for our technology practice.”
The lawyer’s experience includes advising on Securities and Exchange Commission compliance as well as joint ventures in an array of industries.
According to reports, Preston earned recognition as a Texas Rising Star in the area of Antitrust Litigation by law & Politics.
