US: Simpson Thatcher includes antitrust member in latest promotions

Simpson Thatcher announced Wednesday the promotion of six of its lawyers to partner, including antitrust lawyer Sara Y. Razi.

    The law firm said Razi, based in Washington, DC, has been elected to become partner, effective January 1, 2015.

    Razi previously served at the Federal Trade Commission as Deputy Assistant Director of the Bureau of Competition. Her practice at the firm focuses on government merger and antitrust compliance investigation, antitrust counseling and antitrust litigation.

    She is currently a counsel at Simpson Thatcher, the firm said.
