 |  September 15, 2014

Enterprise software provider Micro Focus is set to acquire The Attachmate Group in a $1.2 billion merger, say reports.

The acquisition of the software holdings company will reportedly triple the size of Micro Focus.

The companies said they expect to close the deal in November; the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
