US: UFC files motion to dismiss

 |  March 1, 2015

The Ultimate Fighting Championship have this weekend revealed that they have officially files a motion to dismiss the antitrust lawsuits that have been brought against them over the past couple of months by fighters.

In a statement in their website the UFC said “While UFC vigorously contests the plaintiffs’ characterization of the facts, a court deciding a motion to dismiss generally must accept the allegations as true. Even with that high legal standard, UFC’s motion demonstrates that UFC competed in lawful ways that helped fighters and built UFC into a premiere organization in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.”
