US: AT&T wants a piece of the LCD price-fixing prize

A San Francisco appeals court has partially reinstated a lawsuit initiated by AT&T over LCD display price-fixing. According to reports, AT&T won the rights to have claims reinstated by the 9th Circuit US Court of Appeals in San Francisco after a lower court judgment dismissed the case. AT&T will now be allowed to sue manufacturers of LCD screens, including Samsung, for price-fixing. The decision comes after three LCD makers were fined $571 million in a settlement with the US for price-fixing.
