FTC releases 2011 HSR Premerger Notification Report

The Federal Trade Commission has released the 2011 Hart-Scott-Rodino Premerger Notification Report. The number of transactions reported to the FTC and DOJ has increased by 24 percent from 2010, from 1,166 in 2010 to 1,450 in 2011. 2011 is the second consecutive year to see a rise in reported transactions.
