The UK’s communications regulator, Ofcom, has reportedly dismissed a complaint against wholesale telco provider BT made by TalkTalk.
Reports say TalkTalk initially accused BT of operating a margin squeeze by forcing unfair prices for telcos like TalkTalk to access BT’s fiber network.
The complaint followed an investigation launched by Ofcom in 2013, say reports, though the probe concluded without evidence of anticompetitive conduct by BT. Now, with its dismissal of TalkTalk’s complaint, Ofcom says its decision on the dispute is final.
Reports say the regulator will publish its complete decision by the end of the year.
