Chile: FNE announces new thresholds for merger notification

The National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) of Chile has announced that, as of August 9 of this year, new sales thresholds will come into force which will determine if a business concentration must be notified and reviewed before taking place. The resolution, signed by the Prosecutor Ricardo Riesco, establishes the obligation to notify any concentration that meets the following requirements:
