Ecuador: Cruz Verde parent company cleared to buy pharmacy chain

The Superintendency of Market Power Control (SCPM) of Ecuador approved the acquisition proposal made by the Chilean pharmaceutical group SOCOFAR, parent of the important chain of pharmacies Cruz Verde and part of the Mexican group FEMSA, to take over the line of Ecuadorian pharmacies Fybesa.

    The Ecuadorian company owns the Oki-Doki retailer and the Fybeca and SanaSana pharmacies, one of the most important pharmacy groups in Ecuador.
