The FNE “came to the conclusion that there would be no risk of substantial reduction in competition…” with the agreement, noting that the existence of a dynamic market was evident, with enough actors and room for expansion, so that competition would not be affected.
The decision will allow Telepizza to continue with its plans in Latin America, where the new merged brand would transform all its pizza restaurants into Pizza Hut brand locations, keeping Telepizza only in Spain, Portugal and Brazil.
