Can Enterprise Payment Upgrades Help Businesses Save Money?

How essential is an accurate payment system in a business? Everything from payroll to invoicing must be on point to ensure that companies’ financials remain secure. However, some businesses have created tools that could help organizations remain on top of all of their financial needs.

Mobile payroll systems and fingerprint biometrics have the potential to streamline the payments process, according to some industry experts. Time and attendance systems are essential for businesses of all sizes, but it’s crucial for companies to pick the right one, said Matt Rissell, CEO of TSheets Time Tracking.

“If you can’t accurately track time, how can you predict employee hours, determine your staffing needs, or verify employee time is being spent on the highest priority projects first, avoiding unnecessary overtime,” Rissell told Business News Daily. “The insight into labor expenses, project costs and overall financial analysis are true benefits to businesses using a quality time and attendance system.”

Innovative businesses have taken that idea to heart, and are offering tools for companies that will simplify their payment process.

Human capital management firm Ceridian is one of those innovators, and recently announced a new suite of tools that can help businesses integrate new payment technologies. For example, Ceridian said in a company release that its new mobile payroll app lets its small business customers securely access Ceridian HR/Payroll from their iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

Small business owners can leverage mobile technology and often still perform their job from anywhere, while on the go, Shelley Ng, vice president of product management at Ceridian said in a statement.

“The shift toward business-centered mobile apps solves administrative issues, provides the necessary security and more flexibility for small business owners to optimize their time by doing more on the go,” Ng said.
