Jeff Schumacher serves as Sports Authority’s Executive Vice President , Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.  In this role, Jeff oversees all marketing, advertising, private brand strategy, digital/eCommerce, corporate and business development strategy for Sports Authority’s  465 stores in 45 states. Jeff brings more than 15 years of industry experience in marketing, advertising, sales and brand/retail strategy.  During his 15-year career, Jeff focused on Marketing and Sales topics for a broad range of retail and consumer companies

Prior to join the Sports Authority Jeff was a Partner in McKinsey and Company.  During Jeff’s partnership at McKinsey & Company he led the West Coast Marketing and Sales Practice and served as the global head of the McKinsey Customer Lifecycle Management Solution Center as well as a Global Leader in McKinsey’s Retail Practice and Consumer Practices.
