The British mobile operator introduced it’s 02 Wallet early in 2012. The payment solution initially came without an NFC functionality but now the operator is planning to add contactless payments to its options. At present the wallet needs to be coupled with a card for payments at physical points, but NFC will expand its functionality beyond online purchases.
