Luck Of The Irish? Visa Sees Contactless Progress In Ireland

Visa Debit announced it has facilitated half a million contactless payments across the country to date, reported SiliconRepublic. Additionally, Visa Europe predicted that 70 percent of Irish adults with bank accounts will register for a Visa Debit contactless card. Consumers will be able to make good use of their Visa debit card since many retailers in Ireland are now accepting contactless payments. Accepting retailers include McDonald’s, Insomnia, Arnotts, Boots, Centra, Marks and Spencer, Spar and more.
